What I really wanted to show you in this post was our very own South African supermodel-in-the-making Candice Swanepoel. I mean she is a Victoria Secret Angel, a Forbes Top 10 model of the year, on the cover of the latest Vogue Portugal, walking ramp for Oscar de la Renta and nominated for the "Our New Girlfriend" award at the Spike Guy's Choice, held this weekend in California. Up against her mate Rosie Huntington-Whitely. But the photo feeds of her arriving were mislabeled and it was her other mate Erin Fetherston and not our Candice. I could tell that, why couldn't they? And so no images of her exist at this event.
Rosie went on to win. And look drop-dead gorgeous in her white goddess dress by The Row, styled by Cher Coulter. And those are Brian Atwood shoes. Divine.
Two other beautifully dressed girls up for awards were Mila Kunis in Givenchy and Minka Kelly in a lovely blue dress, whose provenance I can't establish. Pitch perfect.
