Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has worn that gorgeous peach silk Stella McCartney dress that she bought on sale from Joseph a few months ago. You know the one, the one that Madonna wore last year.
Kate wore it to a special birthday dinner for Prince Philip. Five of the grandchildren, including a beautiful looking Zara Phillips, treated the Prince and HRH, The Queen to a three Michelin star dinner at The Waterside Inn in Bray, Berkshire to celebrate his 90th birthday. The other grandchildren were Peter Phillips, Beatrice and Eugenie and William. Harry was hosting a charity dinner at the time.
In other news, Kate has bought another pair of new shoes. These beautiful dove-grey courts are identical to her others, and almost certainly also come from LK Bennett. But they look great and much more contemporary than the black courts. In fact I wouldn't mind a pair myself.
She wore them to the Garter Day at Royal Ascot yesterday. And Sophie Wessex, who has also stepped up her style game recently, looked fantastic at the event. Kate's Buxton dress and coat were by London designer Katherine Hooker, custom made for the event.
BTW, those of you who are wondering what Kate has done with her wedding ring, you can see it tucked away underneath her engagement ring in the close-up.
