Stella McCartney, daughter of a Beatle, launched her new resort collection in New York City yesterday. Inviting the stars in town to a good, old-fashioned church fete, held at the Church of St Luke in the West Village, they turned out in force, most wearing Stella's new collection.
When you have Liv Tyler, Bono and Anna Wintour in one place at one time, you are probs pretty sure you have a winning event on your hands.
Combining stripes, florals and block colour in loose, easy-fit shapes, this collection was as fresh as the garden in which it took place. Just delightful.
Naomi Watts also looked beautiful and I am already imagining how I am going to put a similar look together for the summer. Lovely.
