Marc Jacobs Targets Breast Cancer Awareness

I posted a few weeks ago about my involvement with breast cancer awareness raising over the years and how this has been inextricably linked with fashion. Well, now, fashion and this worthy cause has taken another giant leap forward together. International designer for Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, has launched his latest campaign fronted by Georgia May Jagger, in support of breast cancer awareness.
The 'Fight Like a Girl' campaign uses a Miss Marc design on a fun, colourful tote bag which is almost certain to become a must-have item around the UK.
It is easy to understand Jagger's involvement - her aunt Terry (sister to Jerry Hall) is a breast cancer survivor. It is less obvious as to why Marc Jacobs has got involved. But as a huge fan of using one's power for good, I have nothing but praise for the designer and am looking forward to seeing local designers get involved with projects like these. I would be at the front of the queue to buy a bag like this.
