The Royal Wedding Style: Kate Middleton Loves Issa
Every girl knows that when she finds a designer that works for her, she sticks to it. Why fix what aint broke? And Kate Middleton, newly appointed Royal Bride, is no different. If you look back at some of her most successful looks over the past two to three years, you will find that they are all by one designer. A designer I rather fancy due to how soft, comfortable and flattering her dresses are. A designer who you can get locally from Callaghan Collezioni. A designer called Issa.
She is very much in the spirit of Diane von Furstenburg, allowing women to feel both comfortable and sexy, both dressed up and dressed down, in the best possible way.
Sadly, as a Brazillian, she is unlikely to be employed to make The Dress. However, sticking to what she knows and feels comfortable in, Kate did wear a beautiful blue Issa dress for her official engagement announcement.
Deemed modern and sexy within the bounds of the occasion, this was an excellent choice.
PS: I know we are only one day into the Royal engagement, but it is a really happy thing and there are so many fun style topics to discuss, so brace yourselves.
